As a second-generation orthodontist, Dr. Mark Mendlik attended the University of Nebraska, and majored in biology. Following in his father’s footsteps, he proceeded to earn his Doctorate of Dental Surgery with honors from the Creighton University School of Dentistry, and completed his specialty training at the University of Nebraska Orthodontic graduate program where he graduated with a Master of Science and Certificate of Specialization in orthodontics. In 1997, Dr. Mendlik joined his father, Dr. Gary Mendlik, in the exclusive practice of orthodontics.

Dr. Mendlik is board certified in orthodontics and a member of the American Board of Orthodontics College of Diplomats. He has also served as an assistant clinical professor of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics at Creighton University. He is past president of the Omaha Orthodontic Study Club and currently a member of the Roth/Williams International Society of Orthodontics.

When he is not creating beautiful smiles, Dr. Mendlik likes to spend time with his wife Lisa and their twins, Dominic and Lauren. The family enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling together, community activities, and playing with their dog Maggie.
